Surprisingly, it doesn't look too bad. Not my taste, you're doing a good job of not overdoing it.

Wow... Pleasantly surprised at how this came out.
As long as you don't go overboard, I think it looks great.
I'm glad you didn't make the plastic around the shifter red, looks more tasteful in black.

Looking good so far. Just watch the limit so you don't go overboard.

I hate to link away from my350z, but here's a pretty decent dash removal link.
http://liljerk*morpheus*net/350Z/dash_removal/ (replace *'s with .'s)
Whether your car is an 03-05 or 06-08, this will give you an idea. The two screws inside the cubby in 06-08's are slightly different, but easy to figure out (just make sure to use a magnetic screwdriver or you'll lose the screws).
Once you get that out, the gauges come out with two more screws. If you want the black gauge surrounds off too, you'll have to pry them out, then glue them back in when you're done.

Looks really good. I would love to do this in white on mine.
Do you have a DIY you could post?

Plastidip, there is nothing it can't do!
EDIT* Don't combine my thread with another that has nothing to do with it. Thanks.

In for pics of progress. Right now, it looks like crap but I know that you're at the first stage of the process.

Yeah, the top bump I'm going to sand down to the aluminum so you can see the shift pattern, which should take that big tumorous bulge out. As far as the pitting, I don't know how to fix that other than a final spray with the aerosol PlastiDip. If you think it looks bad now, you should see how it started, lol.

No, just someone legitimately trying to be unique and creative. Thanks for your input.
