Sometimes some little texturing can make all the difference. I'm thinking of giving my interior some CF, new pedals and some new gauges as well as new custom speakers grills with CF overlays around them.

If you really want to do a total make over for your interior:
First, set an unlimited budget so you can complete it.
Second, set a plan based on a drawing or a design for what you have in mind.
"I can help you with this"
Third, take you dash apart/buy some industrial clay and start shaping your pieces.
Finally sand and prime the interior pieces and either paint it or cover it with suede or leather.
on the cluster side I remember that a company makes a custom gauges face for our cars.
you can customize it the way you want "color/font/add some writings/etc."
as for the steering wheel there is huge range of selection all the way from color to size to fit your choice.
even the the paddles can be replaced with the 380rs to give a unique look to it.
I guess I covered everything that can be covered.
this is your easy/cheep solution to update your interior compared to totally replacing it with the 370z's.
It's the harness and the body dimensions are the main restrictions for your idea,
therefore it's almost impossible to be done.
Do forget that the 370 is a fairly new car so the parts aint cheep for sure.
good luck,

lol my interior makes ALL kinds of noises. Plastic rattle is so annoying... coming from my all places. Front dash, center dash, right door panel, etc etc.... its pretty lame. I drown the interior noise with music. I myself don't think the interior looks like crap or anything, but the material sure could have been better for a car worth 30,000 brand new. I have an 06........ oh and not to mention my rear clunking. Yay!

370Z interior
I agree, the 350Z interior sucks, that's why I intagrated the 370Z interior, door panels, center console & shifter, push button start & yes main instrument cluster. It is ALOT of work, & what I did was use both pieces to get the end result ie the gauge cluster still uses the 350Z electronics. My next project is to make a wire harness adapter the completely use the 370Z cluster. I will post pictures on my gagage profile soon. Hope this helps u.

Apologize for the thread revival however I come with pictures.
I'm currently finishing up a FULL 370z swap on a 350z Convertible.
The dash fits though custom mounting spots will need to be created.
Center console does as well
The door panels can be a headache, still debating on shaving the originals. I have a set of 370z ones however they are about 2 inches shorter than the convertible ones (unsure if the 350z door panels between coupe and convertible change)
The car is 04 running 16 370z guts. Engine, trans, wiring, interior, brake system.
I only have 1 ABS light due to no steering angle sensor (quick release steering wheel)
As I'm getting close to wrapping up, I have to say that though labor intensive it's the ideal swap for a 350z that's in terrible mechanical condition. Something that has a blown motor/trans and interior is trashed.
The car is driving and I have to say that it feels like very light 370z
One of the beauties about it is switching from physical key to key fob and push button.
