Default Could I be the first to do this to a 350z? - Fender Flares

I hate wide body kits and I hate extreme negative camber. So I decided to go OLD SCHOOL.

why make your wheels look even more sunken?
These would be cool if your wheels stuck out to necessitate said lip... Im lost.
Use some 40mm spacers out back and the same up front, and cut the fenders and then yeah, perhaps..

Wide body is for wide wheels....ie.. look below:

Read the post again. New Equips are going on that necessitate the flares.

Just bolting them and leaving them black. Hopefully I'll have everything done by Jan 22.

This is going to look sick once it is all said and done. Hit me up when the wheels are on, I have to see this in person!

Due to the flares that the 350Z body already has, just bolting them on I think may look a little tacky. Not to mention if you space out the wheels with the setup you have in the pictures, you're going to run into rubbing problems on the original fenders against the tires. Cut some body and install them to have the aftermarket flare the ONLY exaggerated extension of the body rather than having them just attached to the stock body on the Z.

Rauh Welt use a smooth extension, I would recommend doing the same.

But that's just my 2 cents... If you're happy with it, that's all that really matters.

^^^

Agreed!

I love the wildness of Rauh-Welt's porsches! I think it's best to put the wheels on and flare/pull fab around the wheels than add those! If it can't be done then add the flares!

In for results, but I think I've seen it poorly done before...

I dig it. IMO buy flares that are smaller in the front; it looks like you are test fitting a rear flare on the front and the rear. Also, ideally the front flare won't reach that far past the fender and into the front bumper. Here is a good DIY guide that may be helpful:

ha, then youre really hate me.. RWB's been in my build thread since day one.. good Ol Rauh Welt..

went VS becuase its the only kit w wide rears RWB enuff for me. Ditching the front later on.. but for now, i got bigger fish to fry..
Bought an Elia WRX wing that can have the cross bar removed to add a ridiculous wing RWB style, and the F14s are currently being painted the same falt bronze as their SSR wheels.

Good job tho OP.. jsut be prepared as your idea will surely catch on.. better get er done before someone else beats you to the press on it haha.
