After a day of seat time these seats are awesome. Really snug and keep you planted in your seat even through really rough turns. Again I am 6'5" and 185lbs and a waist of 34.

The looks of these seats are awesome, really like them. They seem to be well made, only time will tell.

Only complaints so far about the seats is the broken plastic piece I pointed out earlier, and the brackets came with no hardware.

Now for some decent pictures. yeah yeah yeah my car is dirty.

They look really nice man!

Congrats on your money well spent.

I'm really considering these. TFS!

btw. is there any some sort of play when you yank the seats back and forth?

Do you mean is there any give in the sliders? Or the brackets? I haven't really experienced any give in them (that's with wot and full brakes) I can test it out later by just trying to force it by hand.

Yes, they do actually sit a little bit lower than stock. Which I like.

When I tried forcing it to move by hand nothing really was giving at all the only thing that would move a little was the back rest part. Nothing too crazy very minimal movement.

hey Jon what did they cost you? I think i want to get some cheap yet not crap black suede seats for summertime.. this leather kills me. plus the sitting low thing is a huge plus. Im pretty tall too, but you still had me beat by a bit. .

Check out OMP seats. You can get an OMP for like $400-ish, and it's made by a company that's proven themselves time and time again in motorsports. On a street or competition car, seats are a safety item first, style item second.

Those seats look pretty nice! I'm interested in knowing how they hold up over time.

Hey they cost me around 750 after the easy rebate they give you. However you can get some cheaper series from them for under 600. You're local ish... If you're really interested we could arrange something so you could check them out.

To VMR: thanks, yeah I am looking forward to seeing how they hold up, hopefully better than the stocks who got destroyed by previous owner and were in need of a change badly.

We have been selling cipher brand seats and brackets for years. They are becoming one of the most popular brands of seats we carry and we normally stock alot of their seats.

i understand from a price point perspective on their high selling volume, but how does their reliability and overall wear and tear rank?

They are comparable to Corbeau racing seats. Haven't had any complaints with them in the year since we started selling them. Honestly have nothing bad to say about them. There no Bride seats but there better than alot i have seen.
