I believe that has to do with the routing of your wiring from the ballast to the bulb. My left one was hanging a little just after install and a couple bumps on the housing and it would slowly walk back up. After a few days of driving it started working fine though.

I've had them installed for a while now and I love them. So much better than the stock 03-05 housings.

I just installed mine and I like the looks of it but inside the lens of one of them their is a foam piece stuck there and inside the other one there is dirt and its noticeable... I didnt wanna open these up and deal with condensation issues :S

Also, my right side headlight isnt working and it didnt with my stock lights either so now im guessing its a wiring issue? :/

Did you check the Ballast or bulb?

Thanks, changed it to 50 posts/page, from whatever the default was. And BTW, now only 13 pages.

Amazon.com: Sylvania 3357A/3457A ST SilverStar 29-Watt High Performance Signal Light: Automotive Amazon.com: Sylvania 3357A/3457A ST SilverStar 29-Watt High Performance Signal Light: Automotive
would these bulbs work as a replacement for the turn signal bulbs for 03-05 hids to depo?
Thanks.

Hey NoLagg, sorry I didnt see your question.. Yes I checked the ballast and the bulb was fine and it was brand new too.. So im not sure what else is can be. The turn signal and the LED's on the headlight assembly work, just not the headlight bulb. Ideas?

Those will work fine in the Depo's. Those are amber bulbs, which is what's required in most states, even though the description states "clear white and bright light".

For that price, I'd go with some nice LED's, and I've replaced all the filament bulbs in my '08 with LED's. These will look great:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-Amber-3156-3157-3156A-3357A-3457A-LED-Turn-Signal-Light-Load-Resistor-A56C/390666960138?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131017132637%26meid%3D8852416193714776945%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D20131017132637%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D261419857085
If you want something nice for the parking light bulb:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-pc-194-5k-1210-Bright-White-10-LED-Car-Bulb-Miniature-Wedge-Base-W5W-T10-L24-/261419857085?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cddd674bd&vxp=mtr
No resistor needed for these, but you have to use something small to fit the housing. There are 168's with many more LED's. but they're too long/large in diameter. These are nice and bright, though. These will also work for your license plate lights.

I just ordered a set of headlights finally after trolling this thread for a year.
I got in an accident in July and the body shop put in brand new 03-05 HID lights, those will be up for sale shortly!

I just ordered the parking light LEDs, I'm not sure how to install the ambers with the resistor's so I haven't ordered those yet. Any wire cutting involved?

The resistor is wired in parallel with the LED "bulb", in other words, across the 2 wires to the socket. You can use wire taps, like these:

Amazon.com: Solderless Wire Quick Splice Connector - 14-16 Gauge - 25 Pack: Home Improvement Amazon.com: Solderless Wire Quick Splice Connector - 14-16 Gauge - 25 Pack: Home Improvement

Any auto parts store has them.

Finally got my lights and installed!
These are so much better that my 03-05 OEM HIDs looks and light output. I have morimoto D2S XB35 5500K bulbs, regular incandescent 3357A/3457A amber signal bulbs (on always) and those ebay LED DRL 5K white 10 LED bulbs. I think the light output is fantastic. I just need to aim my lights and I should be good to go!

So just to clarify...I want to purchase these lights but don't care for any fancy beam pattern and I fully understand the issue with the connectors. However, couldn't I just buy an aftermarket HID kit for my non HID 03 and get away with it??? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, you could probably run a standard non hid bulb....right???

I mean technically you could do anything you want as long as you figure out a way for it to work.

You could buy a cheap HID kit for your OEM lights, but the performance won't be very good.

If you get the '06> Depo lights, they're made to accept only a D2S HID bulb. Use only good quality German or Japanese bulbs, i.e. Osram, Philips, Morimoto - no Chinese knock-off junk - and pick a color temp between 4300K and 6000K.
