I was lucky enough to be refunded for the majority of the cost, for the A4 wides. Two sets of seats, the first arrived broken, the second were better but still unacceptably flimsy.

Settled on a single Cobra Imola ProFit GT seat. Its FIA approved, Kevlar, just the right width, and not a mm of flex to be found. Interchangeable padding to suit your needs and not an extreme high bolster seat. For me at 6'1" 40" waist I fit more comfortably than the OEM seat (more hip room).

An important note, with the seat on 3/4" tall sliders (corbeau double locking sliders) and the Planted seated bracket the shoulder bolsters are line on line with the door and my head clearance is identical to stock. In other words there is no need for seat trimming or door panel removal as the shoulder bolster's apex is on the panels apex.

I'm on and off playing with adjustments as I'm very particular about my seating position (of which I've purchased different seat pads and will likely bolt the seat directly to the bracket without sliders.

The seat will be used as a track day seat only so sliding is not required and I'd like the extra head room.

Thanks for the update! I can't go with a fixed back & I'm looking for a more comfortable seat versus the snug racing style which is why I ask about the A4 wide.

I'm 6'4 240 with a smaller waist (36) and huge upper shoulders. Im trying to figure out a better fitting seat over OEM, where my back actually rests against the seat & not just my shoulder making contact with the curving corners. I for sure need a wider seat just not sure the right one yet. It's so hard when you can't really test the seats before hand.
