so i flip flopped between the olive and the metallic grey so much that i was stked to find a color that combined both almost exactly.
And it will be at my door tomorrow AM.. so I took monday off.. and am going to try and knock out as much as i can over the weekend.
after going to another local car show.. i realized that i needed an "unpopular" color.. one that wasnt going to eb on other cars..
Avery Midnight Sand Metallic.
In different lighting it goes from silver to tan to an olive color.
ANd with my candy red.. its going to be FIRE>
I love the angles this car has now..
cant wait to post up my progres pics on my DIY wrap job.. Im doing the door jambs as well.

hey Brian.. your turbo smokes because the drain line had a junk rtv gasket made w a huge gap in coverage.. jesus christ. CMon.
we suspect hiogh EGTs from running a metal cat as the cause of the retarded heat discoloration.
it should reach PTE by thursday.. hopefully wont be too scary to fix. Will certainly be getting rid of the cat.
tear down prep for vinyl wrap happened friday:
used magents to help.. foledd down top side, cut away paper, smoothed out, then stretched tight across bottom half of the doors..
No bullshttin.. this is a full color change.. means door jambs too:
Al's ti bolts for the strikers..
Hacked the bottom tabs off a Broadway 300mm convex blue glass mirror.. used 3m to adhere it to the OEM mirror, all the buttons still free and clear now.. no more blindspots.. WAY better.
I need to wrap the flares and the bumpers and that part will be all done.
