such is the life of being a sponsored car lol.. my car gets pushed out when a legit paying customer has work to be done lol.. Im still cool w it tho lol..
so, car is now on bags... sensors should go on this week as well and be done.
learned some things..
If you want to be able to clear the air fitting on these threaded bag mounts..( fitting is behind the shock body in this pic)
You need to build a steel sleeve to space it out so the lock collar can spin and not hit the fitting as you tighten it all down :
we used some more elbow unions so the lines didnt have to bend behind the subframe etc... and all the lines that ran across sheetemetal etc had the chafe sleeve from ARP head stud kits wrapped around the lines to protect them even better.
As always, elbow fittings were used to avoid curved lines and to save a ton of space.
Yes.. spacer city.. im aware.. Im good w that. Rear bags installed and seat on bolt on brackets.
Hovercraft mode during install.. no wheels lol.
Should have some wrap up pics for the bags soon.. then the body pieces will be next.

Nah.. its not that bad.. angle of the pic makes it look like half a foot Lol.
Its a 50mm.. same ones that are on every Bensopra Gtr you see
Most cars really dont need 345 tires, just a wider track width..
even the Ben' gtr's run 20*10.5 square set up.

lol nice.
get your *** out and visit man. Unless Minnesota is "Bomb in the summer" lol.
SO this should be wrpped up pretty quickly.. they installed my baffled and vented catch can as well.. and im having the drivers seat rails/legs chopped down so i can see under this wing and fit better in the car w out leaning my neck fwd.. sht is redic.. time for that to go lol.
All my kit new parts shipped out and should be here wednesday.. carbon hump roof, superlegerra sides and fenders etc.. got a few more things for the daily whip ( Chrysler) too.
Now i get to stfu and get to fiberglassing..
the fedners wont match up w the buper.. or the VS fenders... lol.. fawk.
This will be interesting.
Gotta get the fenderwells cleaned up too, doing some gloss spray in bedliner under there to keep it neat and cut down on noise, aid in keeping it clean etc.
not having the holes pre drilled in the replica over fenders is actually a total B#TCH.. i have to do a lot of work to make them all look neat and tidy. Oh well.

in other news Jackson was a total saint and hooked me up with his interior build custom pieces.. he sold the Z and felt they needed to go to a good home, one such home bieng in my car.
They neeed to be fiberglassed so they are tougher as theyre just foam and bondo right now.. but i think they will be a dope addition for the show car side of my build

the front bags are set WAY too high tho lol.. so the front is up quite a bit even when aired up.

a group in Japan picked up my car as well for features..
