K i ordered some 6000k bulbs i wanted ds2 but when they came in there d2c

I have a 2006 350z touring i want the blue ish look like when you first start the car that's why i wanted to switch to 6000k

What are the bulbs that are gonna give me this look and last thanks guys i have read thread after thread and have ended up confused lol

I like the look your talking about but i just want to do a plug and play without taking the lens off!

I have found people saying phillips ds2 ultinon bi xenon 6000k

Where would i find the legit ones a lot of knock offs on ebay i live in ontario i can't find any dealers!

Basically just want a bit of a blue and i would be happy with anything better then the 4300k white ones!

The Philips or Osram bulbs are very good (German-made), and I always stick with those name brands. There is so much variation among the cheap Chinese-made knockoff bulbs that you never know what you'll end up with; beam pattern can be poor, inaccurate color temp and fading, poor light output, etc. High-quality bulbs are absolutely worth the extra cost, and really should be a one-time purchase.

Can you order from Amazon.com?

The STi lens replacement is nice, but not strictly necessary. It makes the horizon line a bit sharper, but doesn't really change the effectiveness of the lights all that much. The OEM bi-xenon's are pretty nice, as-is. Use nothing wih a color temp >6000K, as light output drops off dramatically, and you'll look like a ricer in a Civic. Best output is actually ~4300K, which is the OEM color for a reason.


EDIT: Just took a look at Amazon, and sadly, that site is also now flooded with mostly Chinese-crap bulbs, even though they're listed as Philips (one i is the correct spelling) and Osram/Sylvania. I would only feel safe buying from Amazon directly, and not from one of the "marketplace" vendors. What a shame. Maybe someone else can recommend another source. I got mine from Amazon December '12 and had no issues finding real Philips 5000K bulbs for ~$130/pr.

Thanks for your input yeah that's where i'm getting messed up to many knock offs i want to find the real deal ones. I will keep looking for them thanks again!
