Yeah, it's an enthusiast, but I wish it didn't have the seat side airbags. One thing that I found in my search so far is that still, after all of these years there are plenty of guys asking this same question/s about how to fool the ecu that airbags are still there, and fine; I saw posts of "light came back on", "didn't work" , etc. I'll keep looking into it and I (or the shop I use) will disconnect battery prior to disconnecting the seat harnesses as a precaution, then probably try the resistor method then do the "key cycle" method that I've seen several times to get the blinking airbag light (by the top fuel gauge area) to turn off.
*Those seats will look bueno however!

So much for my OP $$ price range hehe! I see my very first post on this thread and my price range quickly moved up the scale, but I'm sure that once installed I will feel just fine with the cost! Cars as we all know are a luxury item, not good investments, but if you look at it as a hobby or something that you understand/appreciate, well then you or I just enjoy any upgrades to your particular car and as long as you get a smile on your face when you drive it; people often giving compliments, well then that's the point of it all IMO! Track enthusiasts; the adrenaline rush must be so very addicting!

On their site, my order says May 10th; not sure if that is when they leave Japan or if that is est. date they arrive here (FedEx). When I ordered it said that once the items actually takes off on the plane I'll get tracking info. Long wait, but it will be fun to get them!
You're right about my so called budget! I have never bought seats before and I figured that $2K or so may be just fine, but then I started seeing more and more and then YOU had to mention Vorga; I saw them and they were calling my name! So I guess that I should be thanking you instead of blaming you hehe! *I do appreciate your help with some good options; I never realized what a huge market seats alone are!

These showed up today! The Nengun site had shown my order as complete/shipped, but I never did get any tracking info. from fedex so I was surprised. I'll get going on install hopefully tomorrow (sat.), got a bunch of visitors in town, but I'll get pics of them; 100% of instructions are in Japanese, but at least they have diagrams haha! *One thing I noticed while unpacking these seats is that they are surely lighter than the stocks, I'll compare weights.
The seats look awesome; one thing, not sure why is that the middle section of seat as shown in one of the pics has velcro attachments so they pull down. Some pics:

Thanks guys! I'm going to install Dr. side first, got the resistor already done and I'll try to get some comparison pics of stock and these, compare weights to. I will work on getting the weight sensor out of the pass. seat, it could turn out to be an easy install on pass seat (fingers crossed). I'll just have to look the sensor over and try to rig it in the new seat with harness plug under so to just plug in. Hopefully I won't need to do major surgery on the stock seat!

Wow, simply beautiful! Instruction in Japanese mean it's 100% JDM certified, no fake replica here ^_^
Trust me when people see your seats they're going to want but when they find out about the price... fffffuuuuuuuu!

Got the dr. side in, stock seat belts will work just fine. Seats are comfortable and easier to get into than stock, but once in I feel like I shrunk a few inches; seats are definitely sitting lower than stock yet a nice feel! I weighed both seats with rails on (held seat and stood on scale) and these Brides are each 6lbs lighter.
Rainy day, but I snapped a couple of "comparison" pics, I'd say that these new ones stand out a little bit! I'll get better ones when sun is out; both seats in.
