Great guys! Looks like some interest here. Just my take; when it's all said and done, please don't let like $100 bucks determine if you actually buy this killer racing hood or not! I hope that we can get enough of us to lower the price; we are all going to be very proud to have one sitting out in front of our eyeballs each time we start our cars up haha! It's going to take some months to actually get the part, but on a positive note, we can be saving our $$ while we wait; part already paid for, etc.

Does that mean that you want to contact Bulletproof? If any of you guys that are saying I'm in/count me in, etc. are serious you could PM me and I can maybe help out with some info. that Bulletproof already knows about; I don't know if they are building a group buy list or not, but I know that a couple of guys have already dealt with them and ordered already or are on a group buy list.

So, my point is to members who post that they are interested feel free to pm me and then the ball would be in your court as far as pulling the trigger for this MCR aero hood. Let me know if I can help; some of the guys that already have can help you too as they may be waiting for more people to get on a list, I just hope that somebody that is serious about this wouldn't post that they are interested and then be waiting for something to happen.

Hood is too baller for my preference, in for pics of it installed

Reminder - you cannot create a group buy in this section so if you're serious you will need to work with BP for them to make the thread directly

Finally! The MCR aero bonnet arrived in So. Cal. to Bulletproof Automotive and it will ship out today. I should have the new hood in a few days and I sure look forward to it.

I just hope that it didn't get damaged in that long voyage from Japan! Hope it all fits well; can't wait to get a killer paint job on it!

Yeah, I had originally ordered it from Z1 (NY) and wasted some time before I cancelled that order, then went with Bulletproof on July 9th. They apparently are made to order so by the time mcr makes the piece and gets it to Yokahama, then the boat ride to So. Cal. it took some time for sure.

Worth the wait; it's going to look great, Blue .

Are you going to paint the entire hood one color or accent the inner wall of the vents in black?

Thanks! Well, had all along been thinking solid smb/heavy on the clear, but the smb with the black vents as an accent could look cool! I don't know, I'll listen to any good feedback as far as accenting the vent sections according to my car color, etc. What do you think?

Eric did it with his latest wrap:

I think it looks amazing; but he has complementary blue accents on different parts of the car so it flows. SMB is a very dark color, do you have any accents other than your wheels that are black?

I'd probably do it red to match the seats. Hmm....
