Removing plastic trim under steering wheel.
Any1 have a vid or link to removing the plastic trim where te VDC button is. I am trying to take it out and drill a whole in the blank spot next to my VDC for my Demon eye switch.

I'll whip out the old Haynes Manuel. Didn't see anything when I searched I just got removal of the steering wheel almost everytime. Also trying to run the demon eye LED directly off the battery. Trying to see also the best spot to route the wire inside the car. Any insight is very much apreciated. Trying to prep my Z before I send it off for paint with its oem nismo body

The best way to run the wire is straight across to the passenger side, then up in the corner through the grommet by the battery by where the fender and the windshield meet.
When I gutted everything except the dash and headliner in my car it showed how to remove every panel in my service manual. Download the PDF from this site.

Is their a way to run this wire from the Driver side. I got the blank button next to the VDC out and cut out a perfect hole for my New LED switch. Hate to run a really long wire from the passenger side over to the driver side. But their should be a grommet somewhere. I'll look around.

I haven't seen any other grommets but I never looked. I just ran a really long wire. It goes across under the radio and it's all tucked up out of the way. I'm actually getting ready to change it up in there. Going to move the VDC to the center console between the heated seat switches. Then I got 2 switches that fit in the factory holes to go where the VDC switch and the blank are. One will be my fog lights and the other I haven't found a use for yet.
