Damaged floorboard
Long story short I was a dumb*** and jacked the car up in the wrong spot and caused the floor of the drivers side to press up and into the car. That being said, went to the dealer (I know they would overcharge me but was looking for a worst case scenario) to have them take a look. They said 7 labor hours later and two days I could have it done. At $44/hour $308 seems like a lot and it seems like a lot of time as well.
Does anyone recommend any body shops in the Tampa area that could fix this for a better price?
Thanks!

dude that sucks, but did it bust through the floorboard or just bend it up... if it just bent it up i would put like a 2x4 over it on the inside and whack it with a dead blow hammer just to get it down again (pics would help too, from under and inside)

It just bent the floor into a bubble so it didn't puncture or anything. Nissan was worried about the seal with the metal being broken and if that was what happened then rust could be a problem. I tried the 2x4 trick, didn't really do anything at all.

Tell me about it! I thought the white was a type of insulation or hard plastic to support something so I am not sure. I don't believe any metal is broken at all, I think it is just bent. The bubble inside doesn't cause any problems with driving and it hasn't interfered with any other systems. The chair is fine so the rails aren't bent or anything. I used a plastic mallet and then went for a hammer with a heavier head (like a sledge hammer, idk the name).

Looking at those pics, it's apparent you damaged one of the channels that stiffen the FM chassis. It will take some work to restore them, and Travlee's advice is probably sound.

3 bills to fix that is a bargain. All that boxed and shaped metal is what gives your car structural integrity and rigidity.
Pay the man the money and get it fixed.

300 to make the problem go away? Without the frustrations? Yup... Take my money. Call it a 'stupid' tax. You (normally) only pay it once (per instance). I've paid my fair share for these kind of things.

OP could push the floor back down, but it'll most likely oil can on him and pop back up. If the shop can pop weld studs to the flattened boxed section and pull them back to shape, that will create a much more lasting repair. Of course, they'll have to cut the studs off, grind them flat and then undercoat to do it right. If they're willing to do all THAT for $300, then it's a hell of a deal.

I had the same thing happen to me. Mechanic accidentally jacked the car up underneath the floor board. Pushed the floor board up. Mine wasn't as bad though, nor did it crack like yours did (white foam pad showing), but I did manage to fix mine...
OP, if you're a DIY person, try this, as it worked perfectly for me.
I jacked the car up and put it on jack stands. I cut a 2x4 piece of wood about a foot long. With the car jack, sandwich the 2x4 between the jack and the floor board. Then, you have to go inside and pull the carpet out on your drivers side. Once you pull the carpet a bit, you'll see the white foam pad, just take it out. Then with another piece of 2x4, I got a hammer and started to bang it back into place. Worked perfectly.
The bottom 2x4 was for it to even out and not budge out if you hit it too hard from the top.
This might help, it might not. It worked for me. I saved a bunch of money.
