Default Hidden dash cam install

Thought I'd give this a go as I haven't seen anyone else on here do it before.

I followed the headliner removal DIY here and this Youtube Video for the install: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qx5fgy8f28"

Dash cam is a Mobius Action Cam with some extra bits (capacitor, lens extension). Records in HD 1080p to a micro SD card:

It's a bit rough at the moment, but I will be covering my headliner in black suede which will clean it up and make it even less visible.

I have a USB cable going from the camera (which is taped to the underside of the headliner) to the hatch, then down in to the cigarette lighter. I will likely end up hard wiring it and possibly cutting a section out of the sunglasses holder so that I can remove the micro SD card. Right now I have to take a laptop in to the car if I want to download the video.

Video (YouTube has reduced the quality a fair bit)

If you are thinking of a dash cam I suggest you spend some time in the dashcam talk forum before making a choice. It is worth the time.
