How did you manage to scratch up that piece so bad just trying to install it? Relax there, wolverine.

It came that way. Ill fix it if I ever get the f#&$ing thing to fit.

Replaced radio with 08 unit and brackets. The shift console still does not fit:

on the automatic equipped car, the shift bezel separates into three pieces. There is the top silver ring, he middle large silver area, and then the black main piece. the black main piece needs to be installed first and then the silver piece goes on top and the ring finishes it off. I didn't realize that the silver piece separated from the black piece until DarkZ pointed it out. Thanks to him, the console is in. now I just need to paint it.

Easy...check out my nismo roadster build. I scuffed the pieces and then painted with black plastic paint followed by matte clear coat. Looks great!
