Default 350zr Top

Hello every,

My top blew open while driving down the highway, moving along at about 90mph, and now it wont close all the way. It will fold all the way open but it won't close by about an inch and a half. I have pictures if necessary. The dealership told me the frame was bent and they won't attempt to bend it for fear that they may damage it even worse. They told me it would be 6100 for a new top, which of course is ridiculous because a I can purchase another top for roughly 500. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do or if anyone knew of a place who worked on convertible tops in the NC area. Also if this has been discussed before please direct me to the thread and after I respond this thread could be deleted. Thanks any and everyone!!

You can purchase a new top for 500?

Won't that be just the material and not the frame?

I would ring around breakers or look on eBay if you need a new frame.
