370 seat in 350Z?
I've got an 07 Enthusiast. I love the seats in this car, they fit me perfectly even though I'm tall and they work reasonably well on track too. But, my driver seat is just slowly falling apart. Foam is collapsing. It rattles and squeaks. I've taken it apart several times and bodged some repairs but it won't be long before I can stand it anymore.
The seat is black cloth, which I love. Not interested in slippery leather.
Most used 350Z seats look like garbage and would probably have the same problems.
Has anyone tried putting 370Z seats in the 350Z? From pictures the bracket attachment holes look identical to the 350. But if they are off even a tiny bit it would not work.

You'd be better off taking your seat to a local upholstery shop and having them rebuild it using new foam and cloth covering. Very doubtful the Z34 seats match the bolt pattern in the Z33 floor, although I've never tried.

I can get a different bolt pattern to fit if it is different enough, if it is a few mm off that would be hard.
But, with a little additional research I found out that the bolt pattern is the same but instead of there being an alignment pin on the floor it is on the seat bracket on the 370Z seat. All you have to do is cut it off and then drill a hole in the flange to fit the alignment pin on the floor of the 350.
As it turns out the big issue is the seat belt and airbag wire plugs which are apprarently different. I can rewire the seat belt detect plug easily. I have a resistor that I plug into the airbag plug when I use my race seat at the track so I could do the same thing with the 370 seat. The seat airbag would not fire but I don't care about that and it might be best that it not fire anyway since it may be configured different.
The problem with aftermarket seats is that they are expensive and I have no way to try them out. I can easily find a 370Z to sit in and you can find used driver seats for $400.
