Default Door wiring help.

Im swapping my 04 door panels for 06+ panels and want to hookup the LED in the cup holder,Im not sure which wire in the door to splice into, I guess what I need is a source that gets shut off when the car does.
Thanks
David

Hi David, and welcome! Not sure what you trim level is, but my 06 Touring has a bulb. Leds are super easy, and not polarity dependent.
So if you do have a bulb, remove your inside door panel and either use but connectors or 3M splice-ins to get your power. Hot glue or silicone with clamps for an hour.
Good luck, and post up pics so we can see your project!

Why don't you have a meter you can check your wiring with?

My door panels have the LED built in but my car is an 04 so there is no LED plug so what I'm trying to find out is which two wires to tap into for power and ground on both the drivers and passenger side
