Manual Cloth to Powered Leather (searched)
Recently bought a set of leather burnt orange seats for my 03 enthusiast. A few specific questions, the seller gave me the stock switches, the seats are from an 03 and I have an 03, is there any type of plug and play? What I've read has given me conflicting answers.
Also, I've read that some use the cig lighter for a power of the seats, but was told it doesn't draw enough current to power the seat motors. Can you use the lighter for power for the seats (not heat)? If not, what do most use as power ?
Thanks.

Plug and play, plugs are tucked away. If you want to run seat heaters you need the switches , short harness and a relay to make it all work.
I need to list my switches and harness again

Harness is tucked under the carpet and wrapped in tape

So I pulled the pass seat out and pulled up the carpet...
Doesn't look like my car came wired for the seats, and looks like I will have to wire them up myself...
At this time, I don't drive the car in the winter so the heat isn't imperative, whats the best thing to use to power them? Ive been told the cigg lighter could be used but may not draw enough current?
Reference the harness above, can I just swap out this harness for the seated heats to make them work?
(the circled plug doesn't look like it has enough wires coming out of it for the seat heater function, could be wrong tho)

Well a little update in case some people are looking to do the same thing and had the same question(s) as me. As suspected, it was the zoomed in plugs pictured above (switch side of plug), I tapped into them (red for power, black for ground) and tested on a battery to ensure they worked properly before install. Cig lighter is sufficient enough to power the seats, I haven't worried about the heaters yet.
Well, here is the finished working product below!
All in all, wiring, old seat removal, install... took a little over 2 hours...

Not sure if it matters but I tapped into the switch side on the plug. Sorry I didn't take any pics and I would have to pull them out to take one, fairly simple, but I only drive the car in the summer and therefore wasn't worried about the heating function.
Hope this helps
