Much as I enjoy the design and materials on this custom wheel, it's still too pricey for my taste. Having used a Momo type 78 QR steering wheel in my Touring class Z33 for several years, I've seen how Alcanara leather wears. Not for everyday use...

It is nice that one retains air bag, and radio controls, and also no adapter is used .
I think going by the example on the link provided that the suede pictured looks a bit cheap , and the texture of the pores looks way to big. Would be better if they used the type suede found on other wheels like Momo , Sparco , OMP . But that said , I think the leather option with CF is really the way to go and would be sick .
Craig did you go suede or leather ?
I have seen these wheels before on Ebay and Yahoo JP , maybe not the same, but look the the same .

The line on the top of the wheel is designed to better orient the driver in fast maneuvers during solo or track competition. If you make it black, you might as well just delete it completely. Fast wheel movements will make the black line almost invisible anyway...
