:gotowned:Ok. got bored of the 100 shot 48/30 jets. Went to the local speed shop and got some NOS jets 53/30 for a 125 shot. We used the Dynotune calculator on there website. Its running a PERFECT 11 afr with 2-3 degrees pulled.

OK took it for a drive and WOW. Its just NASTY!!! Tires roasting in 3rd gear!!

Although, this does feel like to big of a shot for this car, it just feels bad for the motor. Even though its running perfect its just feels like to much..

BUT WOW!!!!^$*&!^*&!* ITS FAST !!!!

Just thought id share.

finally we finished up installing my nitrous setup after a long while since we couldnt really find any time to work except for the few nice weekends we have had in new jersey. O well, good things tend to take a longer time, and I'd say this kit came out pretty darn good.

this kit is hidden and came out pretty darn clean too. We just decided to hide it so we dont get hassled by tech at the track:icon38:

also, for anyone who wants to know, I'm running jets for a 100 shot right now (running awesome without even a tune), but we plan on moving up in the future

and before anything else I'd like to thank my buddy Justin to did a whole lotta work on this sucker

Ill start with the parts list

-Dynotune wet nitrous kit
-Dynotune purge
-dynotune bottle warmer
-dyntotune pressure gauge
-LC-1 wideband with dynotune gauhe
-dynotune remote bottle opener
-dynotune switch center
-NX progressive controller
-Utec
-NGK colder plugs
-Berk test pipes

and on to what youve all been waiting for...the pictures

wheres that bottle?

and some more info.....

jetted for 100 shot and not even one ping without any timing pulled or a tune so well definatley be moving up with a tune

we took the car to the track but the clutch (around 50,000 miles on the z now) was really slipping bad (what we expected ) so nothing really came out of it except that the motor is holdin the squeeze like a champ...hey good to know :icon38:

o well :icon38: the track will be closed for the winter pretty soon so well have time to put a beefier clutch in the sucker and hold that power

and finally....

pics of the car :icon38:

I searched and didn't find an exact answer for my question so, What gap are you guys running on nitrous? the reason why i am asking is because i am getting a decently large backfire out of my exhaust between shifts. I am running a 100 shot , rpm window switch set from 3500-6600, ngk lfr6a-11 plugs at stock gap(.35 i believe) and 2 degrees retarded via consult, should i open up the gap a little? BTW AFR drops to mid 11's up top

Also , can i run straight race gas without a tune on nitrous?
