A picture is worth a thousand words, but a proper tune can leave you speechless. Much in the way that an artist feels that a painting is never finished, the same can be said about our dedicated AccessPORT engineering team and their ongoing efforts to improve the platforms they support.

This is especially true for the Nissan 370Z that is currently hard at work earning its keep at COBB Tuning SLC. From the start the new Z car was an exciting project, beautifully designed and well tuned from the factory. But yet again, we jumped at the chance to take something great and make it even better. Ever since its arrival it has been a shop favorite for lunch runs and has been put through the ringer with more miles on the dyno than it has on the street.

The future is bright for this little Z as our engineers and calibrators continue to perfect cam timing along with ignition and fuel control. Check back on our BLOG and on our WEBSITE for more exciting news as their efforts continue!

As the g37 Coupe is about done, We already had this already well into the design process and now have a prototype made.

*Like I have stated before...

As the g37 Coupe is about done, We already had this already well into the design process and now have a prototype made.

Like I have stated before in my post, this will be 1 of 3 exhaust designs that will go into production.

I didn't want to just tease you guys with pictures so I had the sound clips made in comparison to the OEM exhaust. Let me know if you have any questions regarding this exhaust.

ARK's New product line exhaust system name brand "GRIP". The ARK "GRIP" offers the serious 350Z enthusiast a rare combination of top quality materials and superb craftsmanship who want the absolute best quality True Dual Burnt SUS Tip exhaust system money can buy.
Each exhaust is constructed with high quality SUS-304 full stainless and manufactured with that full polished finish. Each system features mandrel-bent stainless steel piping for maximum exhaust flow and reduced back pressure. The ARK "GRIP" exhaust system focuses on providing the best possible performance results whether your engine is stock or heavily modified and is dyno proven to maximize engine response and longevity.

Features
Burn Tip layer Exhaust Tips
SUS304 Stainless Steel Construction
Fully Polished Finish 60mm dual Piping w/ DUAL 100mm Exhaust Tip
CNC Machined Flanges
Exposed micro TIG welded
Bolts and hardware required for install are included

Notice how the Sound is deeper yet the decibel level is similar. Could it be our ARK Technology Resonators?

Note: We did 2 start ups on the Test for our Prototype to show idle, to off, and start up noise level. Of course more videos will be up shortly.

I will always try and provide new ways to show the 370z community how our exhaust differ from other brands as well as providing detailed presentable information. We are also working with LOU@AMPLIFIEDMOTORSPORTS. He will have all current pricing once the prices are released.

We are here to simply support our loyal dealers.

ARK PERFORMANCE INC : GRIP TYPE 2 True Dual exhaust 370z

2 of 3 of our Exhaust design for the 370z. Staying true to our True dual X-pipe system, which still continues to give great gains. This is all thanks to our x-pipe and resonator design for best flow with street legal decibels.

Here are some visual persuasion

EDIT: noticed it was too big so made it a little smaller and blended it in a little better:

Stock:

OK took some of the suggestions and realized that I added too much 350 to the 370. So I got rid of the fangs but kept the grill and added just the V1 lip.... lemme know whatcha think of these...

Hmmmmm, have had my Z for 23 days now and have just come back from my second run on an infamous 20 mile , little used, (been superceeded by a boring 6 lane freeway) twisty highway between Berowra and Gosford, near Sydney. For those who dont know its 20miles of twisty dual carriage highway with plenty of tight sweepers, decreasing radius turns, chicanes and other good stuff , mostly cambered the right way, that cuts into cliffs, traverses rivers, that is legendary amongst motorcyclists and sports cars enthusiasts alike here in Sydney. Spotted two Lotus' - an elise and an evora going the other way and a smattering of ducatis.

I am less than impressed by the stock Z's (sports and touring package) suspension set up. Don't get me wrong, by ordinary car standards it is ok, but it bounced bobbed and weaved its way around 30 mph corners at 60mph wherever its less than a perfect slab of black.

I guess the manufacturers have to mostly cater for comfort over handling - the Nismo is not available here yet - and I guess it gives me something to do to sharpen it up - new dampers, springs, sway bars.

Comments? Whats you favourite place to go hard where u live?
