a double din...that is the standard measure.

Any double-DIN will fit, but you need an installation kit. Be aware that replacing the Bose HU with another brand, and using it with the rest of the Bose system, is a bad idea if you're looking for a better-sounding system. Do your research, there are plenty of threads on this site regarding audio upgrades and installs.
