One day at the range, I was introduced to a guy that was shooting a S&W .500. Standing a few feet behind him, I felt the heat from the muzzle blast. He asked if I wanted to shoot off a round. I gave him a hell no look and kindly declined...lol

If you've ever shot a .44 Mag, aka the Dirty Harry gun.
The .44 Mag is on the left, S&W .500 in the center and .45 cold on the right.

I've shot a .45 auto before but holy cow is that .50 big. That's got a hell of a lot of powder. Any more powder and it'd have as much as a rifle bullet of the same caliber. lol
