Default Handguns

Guys I keep reading posts on here about the armoury you guys carry around and it blows me away. Here in New Zealand it is illegal to own a handgun and you must gi through stringent licensing to own a rifle-all automatic weapons are outlawed. If you get caught with a concealed weapon you face a lengthy stretch in jail. You guys must have very few bar fights as no one would know who is carrying and who isn't

lol, it's a different mentality. Some people carry even if they've never been in a bar fight. It gives you a sense a power.

As for using it in a bar fight, some bars have metal detecting wands, especially the ones that had problems. Definately less bar fights here than in other parts of the world.

Japanese are really polite, they're not armed. I wouldn't call us a polite society.

most states, no. Some states will need to you to get a permit to carry it though. Some states won't need a permit but require that it is visible.

Registration is the first step towards confiscation. In a slippery slope situation, as gun control is, every step of control leads to another in short order. In 1933 we had virtually no firearms laws, bar the local level. Today we have many gun laws. That is why you should fight against EVERY measure that is proposed against the 2nd ammendment.

Exactly. I agree, but then again I don't want a convict to have a gun too

>> It gives you a sense a power.

The real reason to carry a gun is that it makes it almost impossible for you to become the victim of a crime.

Of course they carry them whether they're allowed to or not, so it's a moot point.

Man do I wish that where the case.

I do agree that everyone should have a gun though. A lot of people will die the first few days or weeks but that's ok, I wanted their stuff. Which reminds me, when the rapture comes, I'm taking your car.

Although thats true, there are also places you cannot carry a weapon, concealed or otherwise. Banks, Schools, Bars, any place that charges admission for entrance, and any home or business that states no weapons.

Also there is a law in NC "going armed to the terror of the people" which is a blanket law for those who choose to wear a pistol on their hip. Basically if you walk into mcdonalds with a pistol on your hip, and people feel scared, you can be arrested. The advice most lawyers give is don't wear a pistol anywhere in public if you don't want to go to jail, because it just takes one person to call the police and say they feel threatened, and you have no defence.
