Im 25 and just bought my 1st handgun a Glock model 22/.40 I put about 400 rounds through it today and am impressed. High capcity 15 round clip model I almost opted for compensated but the muzzle flash will blind you at night. Next up is a internal laser. Overall I'm happy with the ($600)purchase I was considering a Sig and Springfield but I figured Glock is a better starter semi auto pistol. I'm getting gonna get my concealed and carry permit soon just to make it easier to transport. As of now it has to stay in the glove box or center console. What do you guys carry? I'm sure this is the 1st of many handguns I will own. I already have a pistol grip pump(Mossberg 12 gauge) and a .22 long rifle.
jebz, not to be an ass, but there's about four handgun threads on this forum in the last two weeks. If this were a physical location, there'd be more ammunition in here than in a typical army depot.

I have a Glock 23 .40 S&W I carry. It is a compact version of the Glock 22. I load Federal Hydra-shok rounds. Don't load anything else. Hydra-shok FTK!!!

I have a 38 snub nose for the car and am waiting for the government to pay me to carry a Sig P229.
Good chice on the glock, great gun's for the beginner.
