Default 10/22 I put together

Finally got all of the parts in for it and snuck out to the range today. I didnt take a pic of my 50 yard target, but I will be starting out there next time and move over to the hundred for some fun.

The target pictured is from 25 yards and the center was my initial sight in after the 50footer to make sure. I had one of those damn fruit punch NOS drinks so I was a little jittery and I suck at shooting. My 10 shot fifty yard groups were right around 4"(Edit:actually they were half that after measurement)which is good for me.

The ammo was a mix of cci mini mags, and winchester xpert. I have 5 different other 22lr I will test out next time.

The parts list:
1985 10/22
Hogue Overmold stock
Power custom hammer and sear kit
harris bipod(not included in the cost since ive had it for 20 years)
intensity optics 6.5-20x scope
tactical solutions 15MOA mount
Green Mountain 16" Bull Barrel(which has f'ed up blueing at the end of the barrel, but I dont care since I dont want to wait for a new one)

Total invested is right under $500

Nice, the Hogue stock was my first purchase for my 10/22, best stock IMO

yeah its pretty nice for the $$$$

The bipod is on backwards in the pic since I took it off at the range to shoot from bags.

Edit: I also made and auto bolt release and want to make an extended mag release soon...just gotta think of something cool to do though.

I went and measured my 50 yard target and my 10shot groups were slightly over 2"....I guess was wrong, and all this time I thought i had a 13"cawk hahahaha

Cool. Here is my Marlin 7000:

All stock, just added a simmons whitetail scope ($100) and a rock mount bipod ($40). The gun was 160 so im looking at approx 300 invested.

Groups i shot with Wolf Target Ammo at 100 yards, the red inner square is 2":

I've heard the wold match is some of the most acurate .22 available. I use mini mags for my p-22 when the g/f shoots it, it helps the gun cycle better.

I'm going to build two. One for my daughter and the other for my wife. Going to try and pick up an NDS-22 receiver.

Wolf match is the best stuff there is, no question. Also it wont really matter if its the wolf "match extra, or target match" they will both give the same results.

Here is a little comparison i did a while back of 4 different rounds:

I have only been back in the hobby for about a year now. I put this together to shoot 50 and 100 yds to train for a big boy rifle

I'm looking at a custom built 10/22 with compensater built in supposedly you can only hear the action? It is at a gun shop they want 1K for it? but that includes all the necessary paperwork for the silencer and all. I will prolly cave at some point and add it to my collection, LOL.

its a non tapered .920 diameter barrel, its pretty heavy.

If you look, there are bunch of barrels to go with. My next one will be a aluminum 16" tacsol threaded barrel.

im guessing it will shoot 100yds pretty easily, but after that I dont think I will have enough elevation in scope adj to compensate for the bullet drop(from what I have read)

Thats how much my 10/22 oasis II build cost. It was well worth it!

Ive zeroed my setup for 100 yards with Aguila Rifle Match (most match 22 ammo is subsonic), from Midwayusa, and on a calm day, it makes 1.5" groups.
