Yeah, so i never thought it would really get that hard to find simple 40cal rounds, but like it says, i was just able to pick up a couple hundred after looking for one 20rd box for 2months now. I figured what the hell, it may be the last i can find. The place still has 700 left, so if anyone cant find any im willing to do my civic duty and purchase them for you...
.223 also, they just got 7 cases of pmc so the lady put 1 case on the side for me. Anyone interested pm me.
$9 for 20 is actually not completely horrible considering the same stuff is going for $9.95 in my area. I'm just glad I'm sitting on 5k rounds that I bought before the buying frenzy started.
its actually alillte cheaper as all taxes are in the price. But yeah, these guys are our local gun shop they make their money on guns not the rounds. they sell nearly by orders only BUT have been getting 2-4 ar's per week and selling the crap out of them. Its kinda nice to know so many locals in my area are arming.
It is so crazy that you are experiencing shortages...I have yet to run into issues. Wal-mart is always stocked up here and every gun show I've been to is selling everything.
our gun shows sell a lot, but they rape the publi bc in our case, they know its hard to find. Its sad whenthe only 223 rounds you can find cost $.60-.75 each. I mean, inall reality, 42-45 is expensive. I remember buying some to go shoot when i was in HS (2002) for 28 a peice.
i got to wallmart and buy the winchester 100 round value pack for around $25 for my S&W.
Try doing that in Louisiana (or anywhere in the south). Wal-Mart, Cabellas, Bass Pro... rarely have decent ammo in stock... Luckly I bought ALOT of 9mm from Academy before the elections when they had the Winchester 100rd packs for 18.95.
yeah, besides shotgun shells and 306 my walmart, and other aea walmrts have had nothing, my walmart (boutte) actualy will not be selling many roudns any longer.
wow, tons of .40S&W out here. .223 is pretty available also.
sucks to hear they are so hard to find out there.

our wally world sells them? i buy the WWB for the 40 and 45 100 round boxes. the .223 is insane priced but i have a hookup on that problem is $ $157 for 500 rounds brass cased US made centurion.
It has been TOUGH to get 9mm around here for months now. Three local Wally Worlds are always out of stock and within minutes on the shelf are gone. Ive been buying online, and even then I check the site 3-4X a day, because by the time they send you the "in stock" email it is out of stock!!!
Just scored 500rds 2 days ago to bring me back up to around 1000-1100rds. The $hit is getting silly. Even at my range for rentals or people that need ammo they limit you to only 2 boxes and bend you over in the process.
I do notice around here at least .40 at Wal-Mart is usually in, .45ACP is not....
i bought an m&p9 a few months ago to practice since wm prices are 30% less for 9 than 40, but prefer .40. Now since you cant find 9mm at wm its cheaper to shoot 40. I have A LOT of .40
wally world limits 6 here also, all they had was 5 100 round boxes so i got all of them. They havent had any that ive been able to catch for the last few months so i stock up everytime i see it
