Default Need an AR15 rail..thinking about a DD omega...
Yo guys...so I almost have my AR15 project completed....

base gun is an MP15
CAA saddle
CAA single point sling holder
CAA single point sling
CAA UPG
DD low profile gas black
Spike's Tactical fake can (I know...but it looks cool)
Berska Red-Dot scope

I am still missing a rail, thinking about getting a DD Omega rail, either 9.0 or 12.0

Anyone use them or have suggestion which one to get? I don't care much about the price, I like the design overall, also, I sorta want the rail to overlap the fake can, give it a socomm look

So 12.0 or 9.0 rail?

Either I want it to cover just the gas block, or cover the gas block and the fake can...any suggestions?

Measure how far you want and buy the closest length. I personally don't like the 12" rails, why add more weight for empty rail space?


DD is a cool rail, since price doesn't matter, I'd go for it.

you are correct, I held them before and they are not light in terms of rails...

I may just go for the 9.0...since its a little bit smaller and does cover the gas block...

I have the M&P15 O.R.C. and put the DD Omega rail on mine. It fits great and the rail matched up perfectly with the top rail on my upper.
