I'm sure many of you are familiar with the now very famous youtube video of the Blackwater sniper with spotter on the rooftop of a building in Iraq during the early parts of the war.
In the video, two Blackwater agents along with an injured marine held one focal point of the perimeter for days. The local base commander, who did not like the blackwater company, refused to resupply or reinforce their position due to his egotistical chip on his shoulder. So Blackwater non-combat pilots used private helicopters that were not equipped for air-drop missions to drop in ammunition and food for the two Blackwater agents.
The person depicted as the Sniper is one of the two instructors in this 3-DVD set.
After watching these training DVD's I must say that they are amazing. It is extremely evident the skill Travis Haley and Chris Costa have in instructing everything from simple basics to complex move and fire techniques.
The DVD is very informative and eye opening and I am really glad I shelled out the money for it.
You can see some clips of Travis and Chris here on youtube:
They have a class here in Houston, Texas Oct 10-11. I plan on attending, but not yet committed, having trouble getting me enough 5.56, and running low on funds to equip a new Colt AR with optics.
Nice find, I specifically like how the instructer stated that he does NO trigger work. Hmmm, 4th vid an FOP Range (translation Cop trainings). I may have to look into this more and see if we mioght be able to get those guys to come down...
Woot!, God bless PDs with LOTS of money.

I attended a class by Travis before he joined Magpul. It was very good. The 2nd DVD set continues on where the first left off. It's also 4 DVDs and can't recommend it enough.
