Any range in particular that you recommend? I searched online and found a few (i.e. Lytle Creek, Mike Raahauge's Shooting, West End Gun Club, etc), but I was looking for personal experiences at any of these ranges.

Angeles Crest has a nice setup with good benches.
Burro Canyon is ok... only if you are renting private tac ranges, other wise it sucks.
can't you just go out in the desert and start shooting? it's not like there's much out there besides emptiness....
We can, and some do, but I'm not sure of the legality of this (never exerted the necessary effort to look it up). I know that a bunch of folks go up into the mountains and fire off into the trees in these makeshift "ranges".
I'm going to be going with a group to the desert in a few weeks if you wanna roll out this way.
