I traded in my FNH FiveseveN for an ACOG - TA31F-G
Went to the range w/ it already, forgot to bring spotters so I didn't really site it in farther than 100m, I'll be putting it at 200, since I have a backup reflex optic for 100m-25m.
It goes on my SW MP15

Ive heard great things about these but havent had the chance to actually try one out.... I agree w/above statement about the 5seven! IMO you should have kept it and bought the acog outright or gave up another toy! i think the 5 seven will only go up in price.
the ACOG has its ups and downs just like any optic, but the key to liking it, is fully understanding the optic. alot of people dont really know how to use it.
have fun with it, but i would have kept the FN 5.7
I am probably going to buy another one (if they are still around) in a few years, I just never used it, 2 years it sat under my bed loaded...kinda pointless don't you think?
I use my s&w mp15 a lot (on the job, competitions, active shooting courses, etc) I must have put about 10,000 rounds through it in the last year and half (a lot I know). As a secondary I use my glock 21sf w/ 1913 rail.
The acog was an even swap for the 5.7 so it was almost a no brain-er for me...I know how to use it and it is a very nice piece, I've personally never had a reason to use an acog since all the shooting i've ever really done was 50m and under but at 200m I can hit steel every single time, its amazing. I have a backup reflex red dot optic with is going to be slant mounted (as soon as the DD slant mount comes in).
