I am just wondering who conceal carry's in their Z, and where do you put it? I have mine in the back mesh thingy of the passenger seat... there isn't another better place I can think of...
i have a tactical mount attached to the bottom of my seat. allows for very easy access but it stays very secure in the holster. if i don't feel like carrying my HK on me then i'll carry my S&W on my ankle. depends on what my plans are for the day really.
Yeah I could carry on ME but I want to know where you would put it in the Z... under the seat huh? where did ya get a tactical mount like that from? links?
Carry my full size glock 22 (.40 cal) in the mesh behind the passenger seat (this is of course illegal in Ohio given that according to our new CCL law, we have to have a Concealed Carry Permit to carry, but when in our cars, our guns have to be fully visible (seems to defeat the purpose)).
Thus, with my never ending sigh, I take my slimline .45 auto out of my Small of Back Holster and put it in my new cheap Car holster that attaches to the front of my belt so that if an officer were to look down, he could easily visibly see it. I was thinking about getting a shoulder holster for the car, but I think that the visible part of our law will disapear in a year or so, so I didnt' want to drop $100 on a shoulder holster that then would be next to worthless.
I should move back to my favorite state where I used to live...the great state of Texas!

it's a universal mount. i bought it and took it to my car audio shop and had them install it. there is barely enough cleareance for it though. they had to remove the seat of course.
your other option (i did this before i got that mount installed) is to get a good paddle holster made out of kydex. you can push the holster onto the bars below the seat and it will hold the pistol there for you. it's a lot faster to get to it that way.

"depends on what my plans are for the day"????
If you plan to knock over a liquor store you're properly armed.
- Note to would be Z carjackers.
Don't try to carjack a Z. They're armed.

Im buying myself my CCP for my borthday. I will mount a holster under my driver's seat for the Glock. No point in carrying if the weapon isnt easily accessable.
I used to just keep my Glock 22 (.40 cal) just on the passenger seat when I was driving. Its illegal in Louisiana to to have a concealed weapon in your car without a permit. Has to be in plain view. I got rid of it though and will prob step up to a .45 next.
