We all know what its like to be in the market for an FI setup...And those who have them must be tired of the constant badgering for pics and vids...Well lets see if we can start this up...This thread will be dedicated to different pics, vids, and sound clips of FI setups...Make sure you post ALL mods that you have done to your vehicle...As well as hp and torque numbers...I wish I can start this, but Im still not an FI member
...I think this could be a fun thread with lots of help to those looking into different setups...We've done the research, now lets hear and see some of these bad boys...If this is a repost (I dont think it is) mods feel free to delete...Ok so someone start us off...Happy boosting to all those I envy... |

Here is my OLD set-up, some vids....Turbonetics ST on stock block, AAM RFS, JWT clutch/FW, Crawford Plenum, JIC 3" Single Full Titanium exhaust (9.8lbs), UTEC, 550cc injectors.... In car 11.98 run (2nd run ever on this set-up) Z track day video at MIR Was 90 degrees out, notice the consistency/no heat soak ![]() TN Z vs FD RX-7 This local kid now had a tune and wanted a rematch after I had already beat him, believe it or not our power/weight were nearly identical TN Z vs 03' Cobra RX-7 guys buddy who talked up his car and as you will see drove like a$$, he was embaressed he didnt smoke me. So it floated from 10-11 PSI. ![]() ![]() At about 9 PSI... ![]() ![]() At 8.5 PSI on Sharif@Forged "No Bull" Dyno. At Forged Performance, Sharif decided to not add additional corrections that you might find elsewhere. So hence the "low" numbers on this one. Also to give a idea at their last dyno day another guy and member here brought his brand new Chevy Corvette to the dyno day (which is where this dyno came from)... Chevy claims 400 HP out of their LS2 6.0 L V8... Most of the kit laid out before starting. ![]() Just starting the teardown process. Removed the Injen CAI. ![]() Upper/Lower intake plenums, front bumper, grille, all removed. Installed new plumbing, FMIC, IC pump, IC reservoir. Starting the wiring process. ![]() Everything all wired up. EMU installed. Mounted the new plenum and putting the blower together. ![]() Pushed the car out into the light drizzle to switch bays b/c we needed the open space for other cars being worked on at the same time. ![]() ![]() The lift was needed for another car, not shown in this picture.
