Good job. I've heard that VIR is one of the best tracks in the country. The cage looks great, is this new?
The cage and additional safety gear is all new, and our first time on the track with these pieces. The cage dramatically stiffen up the chassis, and provides a very high level of safety in the event of a bad crash or roll over. The NASACAR style door bars protrude outward into the door, so give the driver and passenger additional crash protection.

Sharif looks like you uncorked the power of that car finally. I want to hear the new numbers.
Believe it or not, we are still running the same power levels as before. I tried raising the boost before we left, but I have wastegate issue or something. The boost wont stabalize, and jumps up, the drops way back down to 8psi...yeah! We'll get it all sorted now in the off season.

Wow, congrats Sharif. Tearing them up out there!
ps. love the Haltech sticker, way to represent
Thanks for you technical support during the year Hal. Glad you like the "Hal"tech decal.

Do you have any good incar video you can post?
No in car vids this time, but we'll be hooking up a 3 camera rig with data aquisition for next year. You'll have simultaneous vids out the front, out the rear, a driver shot, and maybe even vids of my fancy foot work.
Here are a few more pics, including pics of the Time Attack Super Session which is a 5 lap fender to fender sprint race for some bonus points. And the obligatory pics of Sandy.
Thanks Kiyo! Did I mention that this is the SAME clutch I have had in the car for 3 years. 30K+ street miles of street use, 20-30 drag racing passes, lots of street racing (I am retired from street racing now), and now a couple seasons of track use. Still running strong! The Carbonetic triple disc clutch is definately the last clutch you guys will buy for your cars.
I want some pics of the truck Sharif!, I heard the new Diesels aren't too mod friendly though
new emissions requirements really put a hurt on the new trucks potential. As always hopefully the aftermarket will work around this. I love Diesel powered trucks. A shop owner here has a 10 second Dodge, craziness!
I have a 05' Dodge Diesel, its not 10 second fast, but its pretty fast Just had the tranny built can't wait to get it back
Yeah, the new EPA rules blow for Diesel trucks. They have a couple of cats, and a diesel particulate filter that totally chokes off the power, and KILLS the fuel mileage. I am lucky to get 10mpg towing at about 62mph. If I tow at 70-75mpg, i am getting about 7.5mpg. But other than the mileage, the truck is a dream. It tows our 10,000lb rig like there is nothing behind it. The truck can pull 16K lbs conventional, and 25K lbs with 5th wheel.
When the warranty gives up, I'll probably do a cat/DPF delete, and chip the thing, but since I new engine costs 20K, I don't want to rush modding the truck...LOL.
