The G37 engine may be the same, but the packaging into the 370Z will be different, expecially with the new modified FM chassis that has not previously existed.
Granted, not a big change, but I doubt all the mounts and pieces will line up the same. It shouldn't be long...
For other turbo kits, did the 350Z and G35 have the exact same pieces and install mounts? Nope.
Hopefully quite a few...I have a feeling people will be much more likely to boost the 370Z. The extra displacement, stronger bottem end and raised redline over the VQ35DE really make the new VQ37 a good canidate for aftermarket boost applications. Hopefully they can keep the pricing for these kits at a respectable level...thats going to be the key.

This is incorrect. The Z is the LAST car to make it from the old to the new FM platform.

Maybe down the road, but not at launch. I actually see it the other way. With more power and less weight, the performance increase may be enough to satisy many people looking for a little more performance, that don't want to trash their warranty right out of the box.

???
What other cars are already riding on the new, shortened ~99 inch wheelbase version of the E platform?
Does the performance of this car change anyones mind/desire to twin turbo?? I mean I am not saying that I would rule it out or anything but this car would be pretty sick...um stock, or even with just bolt ons/etc. I have never modded a car.......so maybe I don't know how addictive it is haha?? Fill me in please

I feel the exact same way. I think we may be able to get the 370 to around 350 (maybe a lil more) without voiding the warranty anyway. With the lighter weight, this sucker will be quick out the box with a few small mods.
