Default code p0057

hey guys quick question im gettin code p0057, which means its time to replace an o2 sensor(code=o2 sensor low voltage) . Now the code is for bank 2 sensor 2. I know that the sensor is one of the ones located in the test pipes. however which is bank 2, the driver or passengers side? Also from which direction are you looking at the car, head on or from the drivers seat. thanks for any help.

Bank 1 = right hand side = passenger side
Bank 2 = left hand side = driver side

thanks for the response... I wish you guys were closer so i could get a haltech and a new tune i want some big numbers just not to confident with nj tuners

Same code here boss...
P0057, so i changed the sensor on the driver's sde after the cat (found the info in forums) and about 10 miles later the light came up again... Ran the scan and the same code was showing...
Is sensor 2 on the test pipe or after the cat??
Can somebody help?

I have the same problem too, I changed both O2 sensors with the same code p0057. I reset the light and came back on again after 2 days.

Anyone know what needs to be done now ?

Could be bad wiring. ECU could also be f'd if the wiring problem is a short.

how did you reset the code? In my experience with 02 sensor CEL related, the code always come back after a few days if I just use the ODBII reader to clear it, but If I do the battery disconnect for a few hours/over night, then the CEL stay away.

If you have test pipes you might need to the spark plug non-fouler mod on your O2 sensors.

I agree with Zero260 if you have test pipes and you have fouled out the original o2 sensors then they are done, chances of cleaning them are slim to none to make them reusable. If you have non foulers then your non fouler hole needs to be VERY small, I had this issue and refouled a new 02 sensor and used even smaller holes to prevent the issue on my resonated test pipes which actually worked.

I had O2 sensors code come up on my car and changed all four sensors. Code still can on alittle after I rest the ecu after afew mile. End up being a Fing Fuse. make sure to check the O2 sensor fuse

Is the sensor fuse in the hidden fuse box?
