Why does it matter.....because we run a reputable shop and he is running a fraudulent *** business and making San Diego seem like the epicenter of bogus tuning shops. I havent worked my *** off for 13 years to have people cringe at the thought of working with reputable shops in the San Deigo area because some lying bastards have almost ruined it. Besides that, he is also our competition....sort of. LOL! He chose to do business in this area so he can deal with the repercussions of not doing it legitamately. My new years resolution is to crush him like we did to VRT and Mr.A
I haven't personally dealt with any shops in SD outside of Dillingers? back in 1994. But our SD customers would die to have a shop close to them.

I don't ask my customers to post a Dyno Sheet because in the end I understand that the Dyno is just a tool, it's is not a fact meter.

especially from a shop that has a bad reputation and whose numbers are constantly questioned. Not many shops need to post dyno sheets or should tell their customers too because they are not suspect.
it's like posting pictures of wheel/tire setups without telling the offsets and tire sizes.

A Dj is industry standard also, so if you want to compare power without taking into consideration driving skillz or % adjustments, its a good way to measure up.
You can also build your customers a 30-25k build and put out only 500whp that will last you a long time
. Dynosheets have a use..Either way, scott has ran high 13s on 1/4 with 600+whp
.....and lots of excuses....and was beated with the same car by philthy running 450whp on a fresh engine and a real track suspension setup.....which scott had talked shlt about

i get your point but that fact is that dyno numbers are an advertizing tool...so claiming 800whp out of a 700bb tt kit, with no fuel return and a 200$ ems is a flat out lie. Giving fake dynosheets to customers when they pick up their car is a LIE.

That would unfold the BS. So you'll end up with some fake or totally inaccurate dyno sheet that shows the claimed number. Then what? Debate that too?
It's pretty obvious that it doesn't matter either way, anyone who knows the parts will know what the car really makes. If people wanted real proof they'd do what the domestic guys do, and send the built and tuned motor off to an engine dyno shop and get real and accurate numbers. Problem is people don't actually care how the car is running, they just wanna pull out their peepee and show people. It costs far too much to ship a tuned motor to a motor dyno shop and have it verified.

Because I carry the shop phone with me 24/7 check my e-mail and voicemail multiple times daily. I have accounts on over 45 forums and I can't check all my PMs every day. Oddly people that think they need to get a response instantly never think to pick up a phone, they get crazy angry and post nasty threads when you don't respond to PMs in 15 seconds though. Simple solution is to turn off PMs.
