Default cam sensor? wierd malfunction help!!!

I have a 2003 350z with built block from forged performance with turbonetics kit stock heads and cam.

For a while I looked into my car not starting and not having spark after researching and testing nothing..... while replacing the passenger cam sensor I cranked and the car started like a charm but only to find out I had left it unplugged, the sensor was in but unplugged then I plugged it in tried restarting and nothing again ....well long story short so far I have 800+ miles on the car breaking in the motor and it runs perfect but ive had that cam sensor unplugged all the time weird huh does anyone have any idea wats up with this I'm taking my car to jtran this month hopefully he will help .me out with this but i wanna try to figure It out before to go straight to tuning but I want to see if u guys have any ideas

All sensors were replaced. Bout the same time only passenger is giving me problems

Any ideas or system checks u may recommend all Comments welcome please help

what happens when you put the old sensor in?

rut ro......you need to pin out the harness and hope you find it in there.you could be looking at a bad switch in the ecm or an issue with the windows in the cam.(never seen a vq cam like that,but could be)

can u elaborate on the window cam thought also I forgot to post that my vdc and slip light are on and ofcourse my cel. .....

I also checkd my recent codes and it gave me bank 1 which is cam sensor and a control module not to sure something bout input signal and output error I will check and repost I'm prerty sure its out of the same consequence

you need to start with basics, check every ground and make sure you have no voltage drop to the ecm

list your codes.
