The completion date was originally scheduled for SEMA and it looks as though we will make it. I am letting Sam keep the car after SEMA for more testing and to make sure the final tune is good enough to Daily Drive. In other words after SEMA I should have the car back in a week or two.

6 months was the date I had said for the car to be finished... we started in late april early may... We had a few set backs with having the car get ready for photoshoots... i.e. one week at the body shop and one week at the audio shop and so on... If you feel like you need to make a "I told you so" point go ahead I dont care... The car is just down to tuning and final install of a handful of secondary parts.

since the injectors didnt fit, its never been started yet?
how often are you flying to cali to check on it? i assume it wont be driven outside before sema in order to make sure body/paint/engine is 100% clean and spot free.
who is gonna do the vinyl/sticker work for SEMA?

The car will be running for SEMA and you are correct the only run time it will have will be on the Dyno. The car goes back after SEMA to finalize its tune for Daily Driver Purposes...
I already have a company doing the vinyl work... Performance Auto and Sound has a company they use and they will be wrapping the car.

im not sure if youve gone color blind, but your wheels do not match with ANYTHING on your car. I mean the car has great parts, but looks unfinished. Classic case of quality parts dont buy beauty.

The only red is on the interior of the car and it will stay that way. I wanted the outside to be a cool *referencing temp* feel to the car... but once you get inside you feel the aggressive nature being behind the wheel of a true sports car and I felt red best brought that out.
So if you dont like it thats fine... its my car and this is how I like it. Several people have seen the car in person and so far I have as of yet gotten one complaint from them... many of them did not like it in pictures until they saw it in real life... Most of them hated the wing but once they saw how perfectly it was mated to the car they called or messaged me in awe of it...

I am trying to setup a welcome home party for the car when it arrives at Gwinnett Place Nissan after SEMA. A lot of 370z owners will be there All of us A-town folk have been foaming at the mouth for it to get back here

Apocolypse- Nothing against GTM and no disrespect to you, however was wondering what made you choose them over the shops right there in Atlanta? I use to live in the Suwanee area and I know a few shops there that are great companies there. As for your Z, you and GTM have done an awesome job with putting it together.

Jeremiah,
Thanks man! I did initially go to forged performance and pulled my car due to some drama over bad business practices and the fact that a family member had medical bills I had to help pay for. I had talked to sam and he gave me an offer I could not refuse!!! Deal of the century kinda thing. Sam is truely investing into this car! Honestly I am happy I went with GTM than any other shop! Those guys are awesome. To put it in simple terms this build alone would cost $75k+ in parts and labor.
Again, thanks and stay tuned my car is a development platform for some awesome new products from GTM!
