Default twin turbo

Would it be safe or just stupid to throw a greddt turbo kit on my z? any help would be great... Thanks

Are you throwing it on your roof? Just make sure you strap it down, should be good then.

OP, you obviously haven't done enough searching. Read around the FI section a bit...

You should look at rebuilding the motor, people with 350z's that do FI usually blow up there motor b/c of a not so good tune or to much boost. the weakest part of the motor is the Pistons and Rods. If you replace those parts, you can run a greddy TT to 600 safely. you most likely gonna need a better clutch, but if your not looking for to much power, you mite be safe on stock clutch. In other words, its better to be safe then sorry. Look at the rebuild Kits at www.Z1motorsports.com . there not too expensive, i mite get the stage 2 rebuild kit thats 1398.00. It comes with
Wiseco Pistons / Piston Ring set / Wrist pins
Eagle Rods with caps or optional Super A Carrillo Rods
Nissan OEM Gasket kit (Optional Cometic Head Gaskets)
ACL Engine Bearings (Rods, Mains, Thrust)

I wouldnt just throw it on i would at least use some super glue....and the right colored duct tape.

maybe even a bungee cord or something to make sure it doesnt go anywhere...
