Default Jtran Studios low mount single turbo setup completed!

First off want to take the time and thank some companies for there awesome products....tial, gtm (sam), comp turbo, my desert rider paki brother husson, and of course my staff! We have been working on an idea to keep the oil temps low, heat low, and also power pretty linear for a turbo kit idea on the new 370z. We started the fabrication last monday and finished the car with the new exhaust and tuning on friday of the same week. the final price of the turbo kit fabbed up and installed on any 370z six speed or automatic will be right at 9500 out the door. that will be with a 3 inch downpipe mated to the stock exhaust. options are available. below are some pics and a dyno sheet of the work we done. Car made 372 whp and 325 wtq at 5.5 to 6 psi. baker nissans stage 2 gtm powered 370z made just a tad more power then ours on our dyno. this kit will only be available for install at our shop only. tuning will only be done by us. Another option for 370z owners! We will be taking it to a local dynojet to get some different dyno numbers this week! Please give us a call at the shop if you are interested! turn around time is right at 2 weeks! Turbo kit is made from two inch schedule 10 pipe. all piping was prepped, beveled, cleaned, root pass, then second pass all back purded. we gave the wastegate priority and also easier access then what we originally wanted to place it. placement works great! more pics will follow after the custom drops it back off for final lookover! loading up a youtube video of the car now!

Not trying to bash but power seems kinda low, I haven't been on the forums in a wile but is there a reason why you kept the boost low and the WHP-TQ numbers low? My Turbonetics kit'd 350Z made 365whp and 360wtq and was very fun and reliable I though the new 370zs motors could take a lil more power than that.

turbonetics z with 60-1 Turbo setup makes 28xwtq and 315whp on our Dyno. turbonetics 35r z made 335 wtq and 36xwhp at 12 psi on our Dyno. stock 350z and g35s make 200 to 210 on our Dyno. our Dyno reads lower then dynojet since its a load based Dyno. we are taking it to the dynojet to see what it'll put down. this is the type of Dyno to use to tune off of not to make crazy numbers off of. last car we tuned on a dynojet made 460whp and made 380whp on our Dyno. we are running low boost to break the Turbo in. takes a bit longer then traditional oil cooled turbos.

Thanks for the offer but don't have a Z anymore. I'm interested though because I'm looking at starting a new project and was thinking either a v8 350 or a turbo 370 thats why I'm inquiring about your setup there. I'll be interested in seeing the numbers on the another dyne, also are you going to be running higher boost on the other dyno. Will the turbo be broken in by then? Sorry never heard of breaking in a turbo so thats new to me.

Turbo needs to be broken in due to the amount of lube they have in the cooling side of the Turbo. it runs no oil but runs coolant. the wheels are real tight til all the grease or lube is broken down by the coolant. no we will not be running higher boost when we take it to the dynojet. same boost so we can get a baseline number.

two inch schedule 10 pipe to a two into one collector with a divider plate between the collector to keep the exhaust from tumbling before merging all the way to a 2.5 to 3 inch concentric reducer on a t4 flange. schedule 10 pipe is used due to the strength of the material compared to traditional gauged stainless. both feed pipes are asymmetrical so by therory it should scavenge the same between the two banks.

Honestly guys this is a realistic build\kit. No HP # chasing yada yada yada... For that alone if in the market this would be a good option from guys who seem to care. Thx for sharing you guys seem to be level headed and in this industry that is hard to come by. Everyone wants 500+ hp out of a V6 that revs to 6200 for cheap!
