So I've been holding out on showing progress of this build because I was kicking around the idea of mass producing the kit, but it's just plain to much work to sell it cheap enough for people to buy a kit not made by gtm greddy hks ect. Anways here's my 2009 g37s 6 speed 50k miles I'm using a ball bearing billet wheel 67mm turbo from on 3 performance along with their 44 mm Wastegate. I fabricated a custom transmisson crossmember to mount the turbo and fit the air filter right on the turbo. I'm building a aluminum air box around the filter to protect from water and dirt. It's 3 inches off the turbo and to the center of the transmission. Then the header to the 3 inch pipe is all 2.5.

I'm right outside cherry hill new jersey close to Philadelphia. I'm looking for a local place to get intercooler piping and stainless piping. I really need. 3" flex pipe ASAP because Im close to starting the car.


I finished more then half of the intercooler piping today, the oil filter relocation didnt give me the clerarence I was hoping but I don't have to drop an intercooler pipe everytime I change the oil.

what kind of oil pump are you using?? i know comp turbos makes an oil less turbo now that the ls guys are having success with. its a sealed cartridge and is cooled by coolant which is always pressurized.

The comp turbo I would need is about 1350$ I looked into going that route, my turbo and wastegate were only 800$ billet wheel ball bearing from on 3 performance. This is a budget build, the oil pump i actually found on eBay. There's a guy here in new jersey that manufactures oil pumps for sts he also has a street version he sells for around 160$. Saved more then 500$ on one part of this build, all the parts add up quick.

Yeah got it on Craigslist for 400 spent 500 in new cables trans fluid synchs and rented a impact drill.

Finished hot side today on to Wastegate any thoughts on dumped vs routed back into exhaust

Well I have a 3 inch sleeved flex and live in Philly, I was going to use it this weekend to make a 3inch downpipe for my buddy but that may have to wait till next weekend due to the weather

Extreme psi in Bensalem has the flex pipe in stock. And I already picked up a u and 45 to make the Wastegate routing. Good to know though

I mounted the Wastegate dumped but facing my exhaust so if I get annoyed I can send a straight pipe into the exhaust to reroute it.

Was gonna paint intercooler and oil cooler black for sleeper look but I kind of like them polished with the bumper on


Made a simple version of oil drain system boosted performance uses.


And grinded the whole exhaust gonna polish it today



Getting so close just waiting on oil pump and oil feed and return lines. Drop in fuel pump and injectors. And connect the two upper charge pipes to throttle bodies

props for doing the work your self! few things, i would definitely make a bracket to hold the weight of the wastegate up. using that thin of material with no flex section, it will eventually crack at the weld and break off. secondly, the clocking of the wastegate isnt correct. you have to set the pipe up to flow with the exhaust gas's not against it also the driverside feed from the header to the "merge" needs to be a smoother transition. if you can correct these issues, car would spool faster, hold boost better, and also be more efficient! just giving my .02 cents!
