Can someone contact this guy on facebook and see how we can get one of these things. It looks like it'll do what we need for the 350Z. Sorry, not on the social network thing due to my work LOL..... get an email or something.

I talked to a company called Syvecs and their 350z PnP system will run the VR6 while running the stock gauges and electronic throttle. I think i am going to go with it if the price is right.

I actually talked to them over the weekend as well haha. I am debating using Syvecs over the Haltech. They have a lot of nice features that I could see being very important for what we are both doing, although we have two totally different type of builds. Plus any HR guys, they are coming out with a PNP for it as well.

Look forward to this build, as I enjoyed the Delorean build on SF. Keep up the good work man.

Thanks, and yes I like what that EMS has to offer. It's adaptable, what I think all these EMSs should do. I don't know why you can't reconfigure a crank trigger on the Haltech? That's stupid!!

Anyways, I got the passengers side motor mount welded up today and should have the drivers side done by the end of the week. here is a shot of the built block painted ready to go. I have a fully built and ported head with cams coming from Uro Technique in Tampa. Just plain Super nice guy to deal with and fair pricing too.

Make two of everything lol, Might find someone wanting to follow your steps and want to do this swap. I love the sound of the VR6. That head looks really good, price is for the head and all the parts!! That's just the complete valvetrain for the VQ haha...well close to it. I think I paid around ~4k for my 2jz head to be done on my 240sx swap I did back in 2008-2009. Thats a great deal for the VR6.

I just sent some more questions and stuff to Mark on the Syvecs. Hopefully he'll have some good news. I'll pass it along to you when I get it. Might be something you already have, but if not, at least you have some more info.

I may offer these as kits here but I'll have to get with the moderators and become a sponsor first. I didn't think the 350z guys would be as interested as VW guys. Search the internet........and you may find what you are looking for.

Keep me posted on the EMS because I may go with it or I may be developing a CAN module that uses GM sensors for oil and water temp and has a programable RPM and speed input. We'll start with the 350z and then expand to other models. I work with some VERY smart engineers that can get it done without issue. This and a Megasquirt would be a very economical option for people.

Sweet build!
I love the vr6 engine. And love the s4 swap.
That would be perfect for the 350z as well.
I'm exhausted so I probably missed it, but what clutch/flywheel/transmission are you using, and which vr6 engine? 24 valve 12 valve 2.8 3.2 3.6, what?

Wow, you must be extra exhausted. He posted a pic of a custom plate to mate a Z trans to the motor. As for the head, he posted a link to a 12 valve on eBay.

everything is from the 350z. you have to mod the flywheel but i'll post how to do that later. i have the Z1 motorsports 800hp+ twindisc clutch comming with their motor mounts and tranny mount to hold the power.

Also I bought anouther fully built VR6 last night that is built to the max. nothing more could be done to it. Guy put $8K into it and it has 3k miles on it and the max boost its seen is 12psi. head is fully ported with 2mm over sized valves all around and block is built with 8.5:1 compression. head and main studs too. anything you could do to it was done.

Congrats on the newborn.

Looks like there will be a ton of free space left over in the engine bay. I'm curious... How high do you plan on revving the motor?

I'm planning on putting in 268 cams and to rev 7-7500rpm max.
