Fixed. You're talking about the validity of your statement, based on what people tell you.

You'd quantify the number of owners who have blown there motor (i.e. I will quantify the number of turbo Z owners with blown motors by saying ALL that I have talked to have had an engine failure.)

Carry on with this awesome build. I, too, enjoy American, German, and Japanese automotive engineering, but require three separate interfaces because I don't have your skills.

I could probably find/remember more people but im hung-over. Admittedly not everyone had only one build but the point is, most of those cars are running. Their engines are not toast. I know some of the people in that list don't beat on their cars but others I would believe do beat on them regularly.

Wiring is going to be a breeze. I am reusing the 350z harness and 50% of the wires and sensors are in the perfect location. I have enough wire to run to the other locations making it a clean wiring job.

I have a DeLorean buddy that was stationed there. Maybe you can drive to Orlando when OSW has a big event and we can meet up. or maybe Gainsville for gator nationals?

Damn! I love all of those projects! Also did you run a type of I/C on the Delorean 2J?

Again nice work and I look forward to more updates on the turbo VR6 Z!

Thanks!

I finally got the head gasket from SCE and got the head torqued on. Still waiting on the Techtonic Tuning 276 cams I from MJM Autohaus. They refuse to give me a tracking number but say it's shipped and on the way. I'll have the credit card company take care of that this week!

That's really weird to me that the chain is on the rear of the motor. Always thought the chain was on the same side as the pulleys, regardless of motor. Seems like any timing chain work would be a huge pain. Is MJM reputable? If places don't have a tracking #, probably stalling because they didn't have the item in stock...how long has it been?

I figure I can pull the tranny off in no more than 30min with this setup so It's really not bad to get to the timing chain if you have to. It's all new now and should last longer than i probably will own this car.

MJM is a known supplier in the VW world but this is BS. Even SCE emailed me the dayii ordered and said it was going to be two weeks before it shipped. I can respect that, but these games and stalling only boil my blood. I asked MJM for a tracking number and they emailed me back their shady term and conditiones page. Like you may or may not get a tracking number....

For anyone considering any 6 cylinder engine swap in a 350Z or G35 I highly recommend using the stock engine harness.

- The stock harness is high quality
- It contains every possibly sensor connection you could need
- It has NICE shielded cables that control the stock throttle that can be re-used for VR sensors
-If you are using the stock tranny, the wiring is already done.

I recommend this to anyone doing a VR6, RB, 2JZ, even an LSx engine as there are extra wires that can be reassigned to be injector and coil wires. It really makes the install look clean and you just use one of those cheap patch harnesses to tie into whatever ECU you are using.

HEllO Haltec, AEM...people that make EMSs!!!! Allow the user to reconfigure I/Os on you P&P units!!! I'm going to make a MS-III or Pro plug right into the stock harness so it's nice and clean looking. Maybe develop a Plug and play connector PCB for the MS.
