LOL @ the computer fan radiator setup. I'm glad you didn't go through with that. Computer fans aren't designed with road use in mind (vibrations, road debris, moisture etc). I could totally see a couple going out and going un noticed.
Looks good man. Want to hear this car on video if possible

I did a thread on it but added oil return lines into the lower oil pan...

A bunch of clean up work that past month or so...Cleaned up the passenger side by mounting the haltech and wideband module to a sheet of aluminum and bolting it to the interior. Still have some purging of OEM radio/nav wires but I'm getting there.
I had some issues with my widebands a little while back and replaced them both and I think I'm in the clear. After uninstalling/reinstalling the sensors it was a hot mess
Also fabbing up a battery basket for the trunk...something similar to this but my buddy (who welds aluminum) and I have slightly modified. It'll mount to the 4 bolts and I may drill two addition in the floor of the trunk for optimal support - I believe I can access the area on the underside after the gas tank but before the muffler.
Also had a fire suppression system tucked away in the garage. Finally broke it out and mounted three nozzles in the engine bay. The OEM pre-fire-wall has metal so I drilled in one for each header and one slightly off-center to cover the fuel rails/FPR. I've got 3 more nozzle I'm going to put in the cabin in some way...
Finally, around dusk this evening put about ~1/2 mile on the car around the neighborhood...
I'm signed up with high performance academy and have been doing their webinars on various topics. I think I got my idle issues (mostly) ironed out - it'll search every now and again but mostly right around 1k rpm. Decided to get a road tune session in. Nothing major but got 12 minutes of warmup, idle and light driving. I wasnt glued to my laptop but my afrs were in the 12 to 13 : 1 area with single digit corrections.

^I will once I figure out the interior aspect of it...My battery basket is on the front burner...
Anybody make the uprev 'det-cans'?
https://uprev.com/documentation/Knoc...n%20Device.pdf
I think I'm going to give them a go...

I don't think the detonation headphone mod worked...SilencedEyes Aaron has an extra knock sensor cable and I'm going to try it again and use a small 'project box'. Got the car out for about a 5 minute cruise around the neighborhood after doing a little modification on my ignition map.
I idle'd the car for about 15minute before heading out and I've noticed that around 165* coolant temp the engine begins to search/hunt at idle...so I think I've got a little treasure hunt to figure this out. I dont know that it's my CTS compensation map bc it runs fine through 160* and then gets shifty and I'm transitioning from (fuel)16% @ 121*, 9% @ 140, 5% @ 176 degrees. my ignition map adds about 1 degree up to 120* and is zero'd out until 221* when I start retarding timing...If anyone has suggestions I wouldnt mind hearing what you have to say.
I'm also considering putting a small (power steering sized) oil cooler inline right before the turbos...
On a side note, I'm transitioning away from AFR and going to 'Lambda' to monitor my air fuel ratios...
How it sits today:

Simplicity...if youre widebands are showing, for example, 7.5% correction, what's .075 of 12.4:1...versus .075 of .94? Easier to do the math on the fly...thinking about swapping my temps over to celsius and then I'm gonna move to europe... If afr is the imperial measurement of air to fuel ratio than lambda would be the metric equivalent...
thank you kindly!
yeah, I scoped an FIIO E11...I sorta think I burnt up my capacitors when I soldered them - probably bc I used a lighter (my iron crapped out maybe a month ago)...It's worth another shot seeing that capacitors are $2 and a new engine is $10k. I need to take my manifold off and do some measuring home-boy Alex and I are gonna fab-up a better plenum.
EDIT/Updates - I revisited/rewatch one of the HPA webinars and I think my coolant temp map was off...made the adjustments and we'll see how it goes tomorrow.

I'd have to check I run a DOT-legal 101 oct...I don't know that it does or does not contain ethanol - my hunch is that it does...I'll take that extra .5 lambda though!

Any help would be appreciated on this subject...
Getting a weird buzz for a fraction of a second right as I touch the throttle.
I initially thought it was something in my fuel basket but I have uninstalled/reinstalled (per CJM's OEM basket mod) and the pump is snug and everything looks good.
JDM-V35 (Jeff) helped me do some diagnostic testing and upon inspection of with a mechanics stethoscope we can hear the sound from under the plenum and the sound is stronger within the fuel rail than any other spot.
I have swapped out my deatsch 600s and put in my OEM 335cc (at 52psi) adjusted the latency and the sound continues under light throttle blips.
My first generation CJM fuel rails do not have dampers - which I am in the process of installing (~7-10days out) but it's not likely and this buzz was not happening earlier in the life of my fuel system.
while my Deatschwekrs are out I am going to have them cleaned and benched as I am probably going to sell them and replace with larger injectors.
I'll upload a video here shortly - much appreciated!
James
