Thanks, its more than likely going to be a custom fuel set up. Do you think 1000cc injectors will be big enough for 91 and e85? As for the intercooler I plan on usin the same intercooler as you since it seems to work well for you.

Depends on how much power you want...1000cc is probably OK for 91 (maybe w/ meth to be safe) for over +550whp, but not for e85...I needed a twin pump and I had to upgrade from my ID1000cc for my e85 setup (I currently have 2150cc, but I don't think I needed all of it...)

My power goal are 550'ish for 91 and 600+ on E85. Yay more research....

Well don't have great news but have good news the ti blower made 604/445 with an extremely slipping belt at 17psi and every pull after that was less n less psi with more n more slip. This 79.5 belt w the 3.12 pulley was maxed out on the tensioner and still loose and slipping, so we swapped to a brand new 79.5 belt w the 3.12 still and the brand new belt just would not hold on with the new belt it did not see above 16psi so we decided to give it a rest. Unsure if the belt needs to be broken in more but I saw consecutive 20psi pulls a few days ago so I'm confident this blower with the 3.12 pulley can deff see 620-640 whp and I cannot imagine w the 2.87.. 👍👍

Sorry to hear that!

That's why I asked you if you had plenty of adjustment left.

If you can bottom out the adjuster, then You need a shorter belt, 79" is the next size down.

What belt were you using with the 2.87?

Belt dose not need break-in. But after first install of a new belt it may stretch a little and need to be readjusted after 100 miles or so.

I predict with the 2.87 you'll be in the 23-24psi range and 650-675.

When you think you have the Belt pretty fight, take it up a 1/2 turn.

Do a Dyno Run. If you see any slip, take it up another 1/2 turn, and so no……

Also Log each Run so you can clearly see Boost.

Are you going back to the dyno?

Tim w the 2.87 and the Gtm pulley mod I ran the 79.5 and the same belt that was old made the best numbers. With this new belt so tight you could only turn it maybe 45 degrees it still slipped a lot up Tom. You could physically see the belt flex n slip after 7200 rpm and the dyno shows the drop off clearly it's a gates belt. Not today we will not be. It's been nasty weather all day so we are heading back home. If I can get it tighter after some time and see solid boost numbers on my gauge I may be back again in the near future but for now I will just enjoy it. I know it has a lot more left.

Did you see the bracket move or flex when the belt was slipping?

You have the radius Rod installed?

So, you removed the GTM Pulley? If so, why? Not that you should need it. I bet it would not clear with the 3.12

It could be weather related, wet, Humid and cold……

If you can't get it to hold, you may want to look into this:

i believe this may have been the case. i have seen consistent 18s and a few 20psi pulls on a nice hot day so im sure she has alot more.. if i cannot get it figured out i will give them a look. also i may message you a few pictures of my radius rod make sure nothing is wrong with its placement. i am running it currently without strut tower but i dont see that affecting it any. also i am stll running the GTM single pulley mod.. with the brand new belt just to get it on with the 3.12 i had to pull the gtm pulley off install belt then reinstall it. thats how tight it was to get on. and then i still cranked the tensioner down. however my tensioner bolt may be slightly cross threaded as it gets very tough to tighten then gets loose and tough again but it does appear to raise the pulley. i will be replacing this to make sure that is a non issue...

i have a video but it is too wide of an angle to really tell. but at around 7k-7200 rpm in the video i can see a fluctuation in the video ever so slightly that i believe is it slipping.

either way i am very pleased with today, didnt make record breaking power but i know the blower is deff capable of numbers we have never seen on our platform atleast. but most importantly the car was great. not a single issue on the dyno(except the slipping) and car put down consistent numbers time after time and jon did well over 20-30 pulls. its a 4 hr drive so untill i am 100 percent sure it is not slipping i will not return but i will work on it while i enjoy this power

The awesome part is you are not going to smoke the blower to make this power,8 or 10 rib pulleys?

Im running one I believe, I can check tomorrow for sure when I get to the shop. Didn't notice any slipping the short time I had it and the numerous pulls on dyno.

Colombo, those are very promising results! Can't wait to see what these blowers make with a 2.87 pulley.

I have a Gates green stripe belt, however, I'm forced to switch to a gatorback belt as the 79.5 and 80.6 Gates sizing are too small/big for my application.

^^^^ I run green backs, they also cost a lot of green backs. lol

As an alternative, its the regular gates. The Gators are absolutely garbage. Id put one on to drive across country knowing boost is not going to happen....just to save my pricey green back belt for when I arrive. lol.

Ive swapped belts on the side of the road in a suit in under 15 minutes. Althought I did burn myself a bit. LOL. I keep 3 or 4 in the trunk because of the old days of belt creep still haunting me.

my belts are 91.5 to 92.5

Hey should we add engine management to the list?

I saw split second... I assumed that we all were running Osirus UpRev?

Yes. People are slowly moving to Haltech's new Plug & Play. That might be the norm in a couple years.
