Replaced Stillen SC Air Filter with Larger One.
The Stillen sc kit came with a K+N filter; has been on my car almost a year and I wanted to clean it anyway, but decided to go with the AEM dryflow filter that I got 2 mo. ago. I have used AEM before and really like not needing to Oil them! I matched the K+N size wise and this new filter has quite a bit more volume/surface area and it fit right in. Next time I clean it, I am going to try to access it through the top of bumper cover instead of removing the whole thing; it would be close, but it may work if the top clips are removed and pull the cover outward, we'll see. This is the only way for now!
*I had cross matched the size of the AEM to K+N and this was as close as I could get, same tube end dia., etc. but the new one doesn't taper as much and therefore more volume; I was a bit worried if it would fit in that space, but I was glad that it fit perfect!

I am buying another UpRev standard kit. Very soon I will flash the "locked license" from Stillen "back to stock" on the cable that came with the SC kit a year ago. I will be retuning; may be a process as I will have to start over with a sc base tune.
Stillen (Sam Camarillo) made some good tunes for me, but I want my mechanic (UpRev dealer/tuner) that had done my tunes as NA for 2 yrs. before I went SC to be the one creating my tunes for me once again; great guy, races his cars, building his own TT Z and I highly recommend him (any of you uprev guys) I'll be starting out with a base UpRev SC tune, start making Cipher logs and get it dialed in.
I'll decide if I may offer the Stillen license, hardware, cable up on this and other sites for a killer deal. *about a dyno tune, I'll have to get down to Vegas one of these days (only place anywhere near that has one). It would be cool to see if any difference; shouldn't hurt me anyway!

That's impressive; I'd be glad if it gains anything at all. *always nice to have a clean filter anyway, especially when you have to take the bumper cover off just to access it/them!
