Thats not bad for a budget build. Should be a fun car after all the tuning is sorted. You on 93?

Yes. Only thing about the turbo kit I'm worried about. Apart from the motor itself. I'm not a welder or know much about it. But just by looking at it, the welds look somewhat sloppy and weak. Idk if they really are but just by looking at it they appear to be. The crossover pipe especially as it has a flex joint it most likely has a lot of movement.
If they break I would assume I could get a replacement pipe from turbonetics.

Im aware. I think it's the same size that comes with the turbonetics. Should work fine for what Im trying to accomplish. It does fill up the bumper space atleast! haha. They easily could have added a few inches to the height though!

He said he got it back on the dyno and it's still running lean because of the fuel pump. And he said the clutch is slipping? It's a brand new clutch. They're good for 400whp?

The walbro 255 isnt maxed out on your car. Is it an oem clutch? Did you give it the proper break-in? Id pay the shop a visit to see this stuff myself.

I'm using stock fuel pump on 550cc injectors at 7psi with the same kit you have(except it's a replica (godspeed) with what I believe is to be a stock clutch.

First the MAF now the fuel pump. . .sounds like he's dicking you around

He said he assumed I had a fuel pump in it already when he went to dyno this morning since I had injectors. So it initially probably ran lean because of the fuel pump not the maf. I told him to leave the clutch alone. If anything I'll get some use out of it and switch it myself if it goes

Even with the stock fuel pump he said he was still only at 300. It should handle more than that

I agree that he is probably lying. I havent seen an uprev interface but im assuming it gives you a way to read maf voltage. Thats what should be used to determine the maf was maxed. It isnt a guessing game. Id take the car somewhere else.

Even if I do at this point I'm already owing them for the labor parts and the tune and then would have to pay another place to finish the tune. Which means buying the whole uprev platform and the tuning. So that would be like another $1200 at least I would think

I would understand if the stock parts started leaning out closer to 400 but he said it's still at 300
