Default Stillen Supercharger

I'm looking at buying a used Stillen blower on Craigslist (link below) and I wanted some advice first. I'm not new to forced induction, but I am new to boosting an import (drag raced Mustangs my whole life).

Craigslist ad: http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/pts/4768292049.html

The seller claims the blower has 15k miles on it and the reason for selling is that the Z it was on was wrecked. At the bottom of this post is a picture of a list of the parts he says are needed to complete the kit.

Does anyone know if this list is legitimate and is actually what is needed to complete everything? Any help is appreciated!

In case the ad gets taken down, below are the pics and info.

"The supercharger is incomplete but I have the list of what u need from the stilllen company to complete the supercharger. $550."

Yeah I know an aftermarket hood is required.

I wouldn't call stillen 'crappy' it's actually a very well crafted kit. But as far as affectiveness (horsepower per dollar) it's lacking BIG time.

I agree, plus im not a fan of the hood modifications. Not worth it imo.

Save your money and plan your build out with a more capable kit.

The general feedback I've gotten from anyone before when asking about this blower was "not worth the money" which, if I were buying a brand new $5k kit I would agree. I saw this and for the price thought it might be worth it but I may just wait.

It was on a friend's car according to him, no proof, dyno sheet or sale receipt. I was planning on meeting him in person as he lives in the same state, still debating.

You'd be better off waiting for a used Vortech kit to pop up. From everything I've read this supercharger is a POS no matter how well crafted it may be. You ever look at quarter mile times with this kit? Many HRs go faster which is a joke.

That and he said the blower is still powder coated bronze, yet the picture of it in stock black form on the ground with the extra parts is the most recent one... fishy.

Yeah the 1/4 mile times and hp #'s are lacking. I'm just tired of N/A and on a limited budget but I should just wait until something better comes along.

If you slammed the toilet seat on your peg repeatedly you would have more fun than with that POS kit. It's not worth any of your money or time.
